    Or that this guy named Barry Sanders retired after Batch's rookie season. Might be intellectually honest to mention that little fact.

    this is probably where you tell me what I was thinking but I was looking at a list of w/l records, not team stats. Yes, that will make a difference. Still, Charlie Batch just isn't good enough to look back on a decade later and say, "wow, I remember that guy starting."

    Dude had a field day playing catch with the TE's in our very own Panther stadium when the Lions played the Panthers at Ericcson. Then again a lot of teams did that to the Panthers that year, but he really jobbed them and I remember it well.
