    What did he come back from? Sucking ass on a suck ass team?

    Delhomme came back from an injury no QB has ever come back from and led his team to a better record than the Dolphins have.

    I think that's the true meaning of the award, isn't it?

    It doesn't have to be from an injury. Jon Kitna won one year just for bring the Bengals to 8-8. It should be called the "we thought you were washed up, but guess not" award.

    No. Look at the list of players getting votes.


    I think you can make an argument for Delhomme but don't care enough about individual awards to make it or care.

    How is Bolden a comeback of year candidate? That’s like brees he hurt his shoulder on the last game of the season. Dellhomme was gone more than half of the season last year and had a injury that a QB couldn't comeback from.

    I first thought it was B.S. since Pennington played half the season last year, but the guy really has had a great year. Plus with our running game you can't really argue that Delhomme has been a bigger factor in our success than Pennington has been in the Dolphins'.

    Obviously the award isn't very specific and the voters can interpret it anyway the like. His face was shattered and he came back to have a 1,000 yd 11 td season. That's a decent comeback.
