Carolina wins Game 5

Talk about lighting the lamp. 5-1!! fuckin' A.

Other than that late goal a damn good game for the Hurricanes. We skated all over them today. Tomorrow night in Montreal and this may be over.
Irbe picked up where he left off in game 4. The goal he gave up was due to a defensive breakdown IMO.

One more game and we are in the Eastern Finals

I already am a hockey fan, so much so that I've made the trip to Raleigh the past 2 weeks. The Stanley Cup Playoffs whip some serious ass. Ass so whipped that I can't decribe for you the playoff game experience. Go Canes, I don't feel like shaving yet.

If baby time wasn't so close I'd be at these games.

With Toronto and Ottawa going to game 7 we are pretty close to facing off with former Hurricanes Gary Roberts and Tom Barrasso.
