    Cam Newton is hoping a minor procedure will help his injured shoulder.

    The Carolina Panthers released a statement on Thursday saying that their quarterback underwent arthroscopic surgery on his shoulder.

    “The procedure was successfully performed by Panthers team physician Dr. Pat Connor. Newton’s rehabilitation process will begin immediately,” the team said in a statement.

    Newton never had protection so he gets hurt. Any high school coach will teach you first thing is to protect your quarterback.
