Yep, unless we trade down, which seems nigh on impossible most years. I think we can use a new LT and a stud WR though, so that's good news. Just not as much as we can use a Marcell Dareus or a Ndamadfasfkong Suh.

And yet true. You are not a unique snowflake with problems no one else has shared. You're basically SandMan with an eighth grade vocabulary.

I like how you accuse me of lying and then prove me correct. You're so offended by my accurate criticism of Cam's flaws because it makes you feel bad for hyping him.

Right, thanks. He got $27.5 million over 5 seasons back in 2006. Was he the last one or was there someone else?

Most likely. I've been assuming they'll go defensive line in the second round because that's a good spot for it. Claiborne and Coples are the only realistic possibilities for where we'll pick in the first round, but I don't think Coples is worth it and I don't think Claiborne fixes much.

Are there any good safeties in this year's draft coming up? We need a good one cause ours are not very good, imo.

http://www.thisboardrocks.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2679309&postcount=105 Ray-Ray Armstrong of Miami and Robert Lester of Alabama are two potential second round picks to look at if you get a chance. They're both flawed and not great in coverage, but they're instinctual playmakers who can fit at SS while Martin holds down FS. There isn't an Eric Berry in this draft, unfortunately.

Have we held any featured RB to less than 100yds? We made Kevin Smith look like a Pro Bowler. Despite missing a couple tackles Gamble had a decent day against Megatron. Charles Godfrey played great the first half, but I didn't notice him in the second half. Even McClain looked good getting pressure in the middle in the first half. I'm still scratching my head on this one... Seems like last year, the way we go in at the half with a lead, only to come out and be flat on both sides of the ball. It's like we go in at halftime give a pep talk, and the other team makes adjustments-adjustments that we can't adjust to. I know a lot of it is talent, but you had the same talent on the field in the first half. It may be more to do with Chico than he's getting blame for.

D is preference, but has to be an All-Pro player. Less is a miss. Can't reach with this pick. Use FA for immediate needs, not 1st pick. Beyond 1st pick there are no guarantees, but need to find at least 1 more that will be a solid starter for years and a couple of good backups. Any more than that will be gravy considering we don't have a 3rd. If Hurney is going to depend on the draft to build team, he needs some gravy.

Collin is right about lack of talent on D i think. We had one impact player in Beason drafted in last several years. Having only one impact player on D is not good, probably need at least 3. Losing the only one you have is devastating.
