Canes 1 - Refs 3

I hate to blame the refs for any loss, and Detroit did dominate much of the game last night - but to me there were quite a lot of questionable and timely penalties called on the Canes in game 2.

The last one before the second Wings goal was ridiculous. To make that call with just over 4 mins remaining is just plain bshit.

Oh well, the Canes did accomplish more than expecting - getting 1 in Detroit.

Got to disagree. The Wings got more calls last night. The Canes deserved a few of those, but not the last one or a few others.

However, one thing is for sure. The Canes CAN play with the Wings regardless of the refs.

Hard to argue there. Having two PP with NO shots sucks.

Detroit is a juggernaut. No denying that. However, the Canes are competing right now, which in itself is an accomplishment.

after game one you'd thought the canes had already won the cup. One would think with the hornets being here for so many years that they would have an understanding of seven game series. They are already starting on their "just to get there is enough" excuse crap. BHWAA HA HA HA HA.

Funny how I didn't see you mutter a word after Game 1. Who's the fair weather fan?
