No, I actually don't think any of the three TEs will make it to us, which is why Kiper has us stupidly reaching for Fasani-o. And as for Rod Wright, I'd love to have a dominating DT either to pair with Jenkins or replace him in the event that he can't make it back, but I have not been at all impressed with Wright when I've watched Texas.

The more I think about how invisible Short has been all year, the more I like my idea about Bobby Carpenter. RB would also work, but I don't think Williams will fall that far and I don't think Maroney could hold up in our system.

Can someone provide a link to the chart that shows the point value for every pick in the draft? Pretty sure someone put it up here before...

    Thanks.

at any rate, the exercise really breaks down once you start doing trades. For one, people have 75 trades in their simulations, and two, they use trades to pinpoint players that they like that are available at "x" when they don't know when they're going to be available, in theory.

yeah, fucker, it's too involved. It's 8 months to real football again.

TJ Williams. Late 3rd rounder. Man, I really am a homer.

Dominique Byrd seems to be getting into that 3rd round value, and while he's not that great a blocker, he's under-rated as a talent because he didn't get the balls you'd like to see; he's got size, and isn't that different from Pope other than Pope's freakish Peppers-like size (Pope really needs to gain about 10-15 lbs).

Thanks Mags. I thought it was you the last time. I searched the same stuff - but added "NFL" and "equivalent" like a dumbass which really fucked it up. Got a ton of shit about "draft value" though.

I'm getting ready for a Madden draft cause - like you said - it's a long 8 months. :woohoo:

I like Byrd, but he looks a lot slower and less agile than Pope. He looks a lot less everything than Pope, actually. To me, I think Lewis is soft, I think Davis is very good all-around, but I think Pope could end up being the best of the lot. But it's all moot, 'cause we ain't drafting a TE in the first.

I swear, the more I look at that GBN list the more I want us to trade out of the first round. :barf:

I don't think we have a sixth round pick either...didn't we give one up for Gardner?
