Can a girl get some help?

I have joined a Yahoo! novice fantasy league and am a first time player. Our draft is tomorrow morning and although I have done SOME prep work, I don't have info on injuries, etc.

My question is this: Are the premium fantasy info services worth the money and which do you experienced fantasy players like the best?

Also, ideas on defensive teams would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help. Wish me luck!

you did well on your receivers, for sure. check the waiver eire to see if there is a better 4th receiver than dyson. he's good, but since you only picked 15 players, i'd have to imagine there is a better reserve wr.

you got some injury prone rb's. and with foster already laid up, you're in a tricky spot. barlow is waiting on an injury, and when that happens, he should step up nicely. but until then, he's gonna be a part time back.

you need to trade for or pick up a back.

in the short term, i'd dump collins and one of your te's for some depth at wr and rb. unless brooks completely suxs, you should ride him all year. only make a waiver pickup on his off week.

i'd say you got about a middle of the pack team.

Boy, I had no idea the draft would go so quickly! I wanted to mark each one off my list as he was taken, but couldn't keep up. Next time I think I'll know better what to look for. This is definitely going to be a learning experience.

 

It wouldn't hurt to drop the extra kicker, defense and tight end as long as you can pick up some depth at RB and WR. Then put a combination together to trade Duce away to get at least one decent starting RB.

If you can't do that then pick up Dorsey Levens (he's duce's backup). Another good one this year would be troy hambrick.

Whatever you do don't trade the top player in any category. (brooks, mcallister, owens, etc.)
