    another camp thought: Smitty is now the senior WR, unquestionably, for the first time.

    He sure is. He seems to be having a good time. He says its the new O, and it could be just playing again, but it may be what you said too.

    Minter is still at free from all reports I've seen other than this. Salley is a SS. This scheme does generally use all safeties physically interchangeably, but Salley's certainly more of a SS in the role he'd be used - matching up to the TE, for instance. He'll have to show range, he'll have to get up to speed quickly, etc to compete for this job in camp, even though it's essentially his for this camp.
