If the Panthers don't take Newton (if he come out) they deserve to keep losing. If they had tried to get Vick and successed they would be in the playoffs this year. Not real smart in the front office down there

 

Vick wouldn't have did shit here,better than what we had of course but we have nothing like the downfield threats he has in Philly.Not to mention a clueless offensive staff to use him

 

just because Newton beat the shit out of the chickens doesn't mean he is a 1st pick overall

 

No but look at the talent, size, speed ,arm. He is a bigger version of Vick

 

Arm isn't great, its average, he doesn't play in a pro style offense. He's solid at scrambling and is a gamer. He'll probably need a year or two to learn before he can be a starter. I'm not saying he's bad. he's not worth the #1 overall. If the team trades down and takes him, fine, but like I said, not worth the #1.

 

That was never going to happen. Never. I wish people would just stop bringing it up.

 

i don't care what color you are, but we don't need a rookie thug nigga qb. after he's done getting his thug on, then what? prison? maybe a 2nd chance if his thang ain't coke? vick is pretty much a 1 in a million deal i think. the odds of a black dude doing a remake of the MV story are about as likely as a white guy doing exactly the same thing his predecessor did.

 

Id rather Newton than Kyle and the Orton train that seems to be gathering steam.

Newton passing game is better than Vicks or Youngs were when they played in College.
