    So the pats are going to change cam from the ground up huh
    Sorry but I see Hoyer as the front runner there

    Yeah they really are, and that “IF” is huge. Not changing cam much at this point. .. a better bet would be that they use him up in a pat version of read option til cam gets broken again

    That was probably a real smart move by the pats, what with having a big hole at that position in compared to brady. We'll see. Good for Cam.

    I hate the pats as well. Just sayin.

    An awful lot of folks seem to think that this makes the pats a relevant SB contender again and/or cam a MVP possibility again. .. dumb. The pats are taking a gamble that they can afford to take. As for cam, barring waiting around for a late season contender losing a QB it was his best chance to join a winning team. He is banking on getting a ring, even if he is sitting on a bench with a towel over his head.
    Once again bill sits in the catbird seat. He might make cam look like a genius pickup for this year. .. he might wring one more year of efficient play out of hoyer (most likely IMO) .. he might get stidham developed into their system in a hurry. Even if none of the above works, he could easily be in a position to trade up for Lawrence next spring. Bill thinks way ahead of everyone else. .. unfortunately
