    I lost my mom's version which I loved. It's always pretty good just making it up as you go but I'm looking for excellent.

    I used to make it, but haven't in several years for some reason. . . hopefully somebody will post a fairly easy tried and true recipe. I used to just 'wing it' with the basic ingredients.

    Sorry about suggesting Batali's recipe. It's not on the FN website. I have three excellent cookbooks and the recipes vary but not by much.
