    would you want him back?

I spoke to him at the Bobcats game tonight, and he said that he might feel funny about coming back after being let go. He wasn't bitter, actually quite the opposite, as he feels he'll go to a good situation somewhere. He said he would have been happy to take a pay cut to stay with the team too. When I said, "at the time you were let go, there was so much uncertainty", he said, "that's true."

I wouldn't mind having his experience back, but I also understand the desire to go a little younger at that spot.

to some it may appear to be name dropping, but after dealing with Buck for the better part of 4 years, he and I have talked about alot of things other than football....I don't think he would call me friend, but friendly acquaintance would work. If he said friend, I would be floored. Dude is pretty friggin cool.

Having rewatched 3 games today, I was thinking about him a lot. One of the games was that awful Detroit game, but Buck had a really big game making multiple big plays. I can see where he might feel hesitant to return, but bottom line is it was mostly a money thing. I'd like to think if the chance did come up, he'd consider it because his leadership alone would be a benefit.

Sure they want to go younger at some point, but he shouldn't be bothered by that because any place he went would be more as a teacher to guide his replacement if he even was considered a starter. Even if someone signed him to a multi year deal, it would really be year to year because the moment he starts sliding, he's on the bench waiting to go out the door.

Buck has had a harder time the last two years with Jenks being out IMO...

there were games last year where our DL was getting dominated and Buck was the only making a play

he's still got game, and I'd love to have him back

I would want to know who in that locker room was happy to see go though, and why...
