Without Buckner, we got no chance at winning the Big Man Dance contest!

one upside? No more stupid commercials kissing shoes. However, NFL Network fans beware, because unless he takes around the minimum to play somewhere else, he'll probably be on there every waking moment.

I'd love that, but I seriously doubt it. He's got a pretty good gig at the NFL Network right now, and he's expressed interest in a career in media for a long time.

    :agreed:

But to be honest, I really don't understand why he gets the air time he does already. He's not all that articulate. Colorful, sure, but not that well spoken.

I am not a huge fan of Buckner but given he was the only quality tackle on our roster who has played in the last two years this surprises me. They must feel really good about Jenkins coming back or are really desperate with the cap situation. Looks like DT just jumped to the top of the need list come draft day.

I really hope we do not cut Rucker. He is a big part of our defense IMHO. I wonder where we are under the cap if we release Davis, Kasay, Short, Wallace and Smart. I would rather let Minter go than Rucker, although since he just resigned that is not likely.

Thats why coachs can't coach and GM. Coach thinks of the player, the GM thinks about the money and the cap.
