Although the fact that he was voted by the team as a Captain the last couple of years tells me that a lot more of the team liked him than disliked him.

On team captains: On offense, it will be Jake Delhomme and Jeff Mitchell. On defense, it will be Mike Minter and Dan Morgan. On special teams, it will be Karl Hankton. They were voted on by their peers, their teammates. We had a lot of vote getters, which was good. I think we had nine on offense, seven on defense and four on special teams.

Why does anyone continue to listen to PFT? Aren't they the ones who started this whole 6 Wonderlic nonsense? Don't they have a lengthy history of being consistently wrong? Ignore them.

Yes, but its not nonsense. Its been verified by just about everyone.

    No, they don't.

Like many rumor pages, they do sometimes make predictions, which are often wrong. Just like the mainstream writers.

They also print predictions by "insiders" which often turn out to be wrong. That doesnt mean the people didnt say the things.

When they get something, they usually print it, instead of sitting on it.

You don't have to like them, of course.

I read PFT. But they are the Enquirer for NFL news. Not quite the Weekly World News, but close.

The Enquirer has "sources," they don't always do a lot of due dillegence in fact checking. I also think they seem to have a handful of regular sources. Either that or their anonymous quotes are not really even quotes, which is also possible.

What has been verified? That Buckner's teammates don't like him? I don't believe that. And if you meant the Wonderlic score, actually everyone stupidly ran with PFT's nonsense and it turned out that Young did not score a 6 on his first test either. There are a lot of people I don't like who I can nevertheless respect *coughcoughmagnuscough*, but PFT is full of shit.

Do they actually take themselves seriously? I had always assumed it was just a satiric website.

I read that his test was scored wrong but the score was a 6. That makes the PFT report acccurate although only partially correct. The Espn, CBS, etc. guys are only reporting a 16 on his second attempt. We'll have to wait for scores to be released next week to know for sure.
