Just off the top of my noggin....Also, if anybody knows which of these excel on special teams i'd like to hear...

    Goodson
    Sutton

I'd give the nod to Sutton, but not up to me. Goodson just sucks at special teams, and he doesn't offer much on the field, either. my 2 cents.

I think there could be surprises on the OL, but I don't really know what's up there. I know they were high on Garry Williams last year, maybe not this year. Same with Pettiti and CJ Davis. Anybody know what O linemen excel at special teams?

    WR -

    Moore

I say Moore because i don't think anyone else is bubble. If Moore can return punts, he's damn near a lock. But then what to do with Edwards?

    Hayden
    Irvin
    Eric moore

I gotta go with Hayden (UGH) and Eric Moore, again - which ones excel on special teams?

    Ware
    Senn
    Ivy
    Culbertson

    No clue on the LB's.

    Pugh made a damn case.

CJ Wilson, Witherspoon, what about mcClain and Stanford? Are they special teamers?

I've just got a sneaky suspicion that edwards and pike are going to develop some sort of phantom sprain the night before final cuts and get put on IR.

Yeah, I hear you. I don't know that I like that because Edwards needs the season to practice.

Agreed. Not only could it happen, I think it's likely to happen. If Richard Williamson was still our WR coach, I'd have a little more confidence he could be molded into something, but I don't know Tolbert well enough to have the same confidence.

Edwards will stick. They're going to try and force-feed it because it will get App State fans into the stadium. They'll have him hold kicks if that's what it takes. It sucks because it might cost Wright a spot, who on merit is a much better player.

Wright is a ST's guy... physical blocker, no doubt he sticks

I like Edwards... again, learning a brand new position, he's got raw talent

I don't think it's a lack of being able to catch the ball on punts, it's just in his head all the things he's trying to learn... Smitty is right there helping him too. Smitty has really embraced a leadership role...
