    Southern Illinois lost in the semifinals of the MVC. Gonzaga looks like they are about to lose tonight. So long 7 ACC teams.

    Wouldn’t say that quite yet. I’d still take Florida St over someone like Washington. Now if more teams start winning that shouldn't, FSU can kiss a bid goodbye unless they win a few in the tournament.

    Gonzaga won - barely.

    But I was thinking the same thing - if some of these midmajor locks lose their tourneys then that will mean fewer at large bids to spread around

    I wish one of them would take MSU's spot. 1-8 against the top 50 and they are a "lock"?

    good. I'd rather see more mid-majors with the second best record in their conference than these bozos that finish seventh in the ACC or sixth in the SEC.
