Is what was proposed between two others in my league. The guy with Brees has Romo and the guy with Engram would be unbeatable with Brees. I voted against it as well as one of the commisioners (that I know of). These are both close friends in their first years in fantasy and they think we are just being assholes for vetoing. I'm really not as just don't think it passes the common sense test. Brees is turning into a top 5 if not higher QB and Ingram just seemed to have a few big weeks. They are trying to justifiy it by saying Brees in the 9th QB and Engram the 12 WR. Thoughts on how I can explain this objectively (unless you think I am wrong) because I am going to hear about this shit all weekend.

What do you mean? That is the whole reason for the veto. It's to judge the equality of trades.

I would think that you could get a lot more than engram for brees, but if he is going to just leave brees on his bench, and engram is an upgrade at wr for him, then both teams have improved. I really don't think it is balanced, but I don't like vetoes (unless there is clear and obvious collusion).

    but you always quit leagues

The two commissioners vetoed it. They have been running leagues for 15 years. One said it was trading the Beatles for In Synch.

These guys are next door neighbors. Colusion, wouldn't surprise me.

I can see how it could be argued about the veto but it's definately not an equal trade.

brees is ranked 59 and engram is ranked 60 in our league...your league sucks ass for even thinking about vetoing that trade.

Honestly, I am second guessing my decision.
