I think he'd be available at 10, maybe even a little lower. If things were trending that way I wouldn't mind trading down a few picks to get him and getting an additional 2nd or more from the deal.

 

I'm not really worried about where he'll go. It's November. Half of the people picked between #1 and our pick aren't high on the radar right now.

 

Yeah, I agree. He is not being used correctly at all by our vaunted D-coordinator. It looks to me that he usually lines up with no one around him other than a D-lineman on his side. Why not rush a LB inside and let Pep run outside or vice versa? One-on-one he may not be doing so well, but I think he gets doubled alot or gets an RB/FB added after the snap...

 

That's why I'm hoping he's going after the Michigan job and gets it.

 

If Trgo was really misusing Peppers, wouldn't Fox step in at some point and say let him do what he does best? If Fox is supportive of Trgo's "system" do we gain much by losing him? I really don't know, I'm just stirring the pot for discussion. I'm not a fire anyone person really because I have no idea why things are so bad and how many are responsible.

 

Peppers isn't being misused. He is getting handled. It is is easy to see. Again, you don't need to make excuses for the great ones because they find a way to the QB no matter if the LB is blitzing next to them or the RB chips them. Peppers isn't making plays. And we know it is not because he does not have the physical ability.
