    CHARLOTTE -- Carolina Panthers offensive lineman Jeremy Bridges was found guilty Tuesday in Mecklenburg County Court of assault by pointing a gun.

    Bridges was given a 60-day suspended sentence and given one year of unsupervised probation, ordered to pay a $500 fine and to serve 60 hours of community service by Judge Tom Moore. Bridges' attorney George Laughrun has appealed the decision. That appeal will be heard Jan. 7 and a jury trial will likely be set for February or March.

    the question now is does Goodell come in and administer "NFL Justice" and suspend Bridges.

    with what? It'll take our 1st and 2nd to jump from 9th to 4th, more than that to go higher. We're already missing the 5th we gave up for Harris. This team needs more draft picks not less to address it's needs.

    Um... even in a down year you could get a 1st round pick in trade for Peppers.

    Trading Peppers and the 1st pick gets you in elite player territory, and I'm not talking draft picks.
