Says playing time and fan criticism not a factor at all in Adam's decision to leave. Says the coaching staff is disrespectful to the players.
"In terms of wanting to be a Carolina person, he loved everything about the school. He loved the kids, the staff -- in terms of the educational staff -- and everything he was exposed to. It is not a respectful environment, the basketball program. There are just a lot of inconsistencies there and rather than getting into a lot of examples, basically, that's the reason."

Yesterday, Adam Boone added his name to a long and growing list of Tarheels who have fled the maniacal clutches of Mad Matt of the Dean Dome since the current reign of terror began two years ago.
With the purge of the entire rising junior class (Boone, Brian Morrison and Neil Fingleton) now complete, nearly all vestiges of former coach Bill Guthridge's recruiting efforts have been expunged.
Reports that lone Gut holdout Jon Holmes is seeking sanctuary in a church in Durham cannot be verified at this time.
Minutes ago, a UNC spokesman responded to the rumor that Jackie Manuel has been duct taped to his locker to preclude escape "senseless, baseless, and premature."
