Bonds retaliation

Just one question? If Clemens is as great as he thinks he is and everyone makes him out to be, why does he always back down from the good hitters. He is a coward in my book that has always been able to hide behind the DH. Hell, he walked Bonds every other at bat besides the time he hit him. If he's so great, why didn't he challenge him with his pitching instead of plunking him. He was scared Bonds would jack it 450 on him. I think Bonds hit 6 homers off my Braves in a weekend series last year, but none of the pitchers ever backed down from him. I wish he would have to bat against someone like Pedro after plunking someone. Pedro would make him piss on himself! Clemens is a pussy in my book.

Because hitting Bonds and letting him take a base is better then letting him hit 6 home runs. Pitching is about preventing runs and that is what Clemens was doing.
