I guess I should have stated I meant Panthers record for receptions by a TE and the not the NFL all time mark.

    Johnson isn't getting cut.

Our TE's will remain mostly irrelevant, although King could have a season similar to Mangum's in 2004.

Foster, barring injury, will have his first 1,000 season.

Initially, our running game will be about where it was last year, prompting people to bitch about how the new scheme doesn't work. This should change once our line gets the hang of things.

We will start the season by beating St. Louis, and follow that up with a home loss to Houston.

Ryne Robinson will not have a return TD.

Jake Delhomme will rush for 1,200 yards, but fail to convert a single 3rd down.

Danny Crossman will be taken behind an alley and beaten to death.

Jon Beason will have 100+ tackles, and win defensive ROY.

Dwayne Jarrett will have 12 catches - all of them for TD's.

Because of injuries receiver and on special teams, we will re-sign Hankton halfway through the season and he'll make a heroic, game-winning TD against Dallas. He'll celebrate by heaving a Top Cat into the stands.

Eric Shelton will find a nice career as Jim Skipper's personal ball-washer.

John Kasay will make an unfortunate appearance on Dateline NBC's kiddie-toucher show.

We will sweep both the NFC and AFC South, but lose the other six games.

Daimone Lewis will finally come out of the closet.

Ken Lucas will go to the Pro Bowl.

Steve Smith will win another Triple Crown.

Colbert will double his receiving total from last year.

Rosario will be a nice redzone threat.

    People will start worshiping Chryst.

John Fox will have washboard abs.

Mike Wahle will wisely take a paycut after the season.

David Carr will take 7-10 snaps this year.

Deke Cooper will be starting a SS by week six.

The two Panther statues outside the stadium, Quintel and Vondalishia, will appear on Maury.

An undetected asteroid, about 8 miles wide, will strike the earth in January, killing the world's population.

I swear, I thought this was going to end with "7-9". :94poopbanana-thumb1

    Here's mine:

    Beason will contend for DROY.

Marshall will win the CB2 job by season's end.

McClover will be starting at RDE by season's end, and Rucker will announce his retirement.

Thomas Davis will finish the season with 7 sacks and 80+ tackles.

The Panthers will win the NFCS and earn a first round bye.

McClover will seize the starting position from Rucker in week 3, record 23 sacks (including one of Drew Brees that will later be ruled a "Homicide") , terrorize the opposition all year, and go to the Pro Bowl.
However, he will be mortally injured in the Hawaiian jungles by Arnold "Dutch" Schwartzenegger , forcing him to detonate his portable nuclear bomb.
    Rucker starts in 2008.

Steve Smith will have 1800 yards receiving.

Keary Colbert will be deactivated by the end of the season again.

Dan Morgan will stay healthy, play at least 13 games, and will go to the Pro Bowl.

McClover will be starting by the end of the season.

Rucker will retire after the season.

Peppers will have a monster year like we've never seen out of him before.

Jake will play better, but not well enough to quiet those calling for Carr.

Carr will come into a game at some point becuase Jake got hurt and will absolutely suck up the place, turning the "play Carr" bandwagon into a "re-sign Weinke" bandwagon.

The Offensive line will be better than it's ever been.

Our running backs combine for about 1700 yards rushing. Williams will be the starter.

We'll go 11-5 and make the NFC championship game. We'll lose in the NFC championship game because John Kasay will shank an extra point that will ultimately cost us the game.

I agree with meat on Robinson, I had a feeling about him back when we drafted him.

In addition, I predict Peppers will break the sack record as he accepts JR's challenge and LEADS by example.:munching_out:
