    I've been amazed at how the Portland area is so in love with the blues & supports new blues artists.

    Saw BB King & Etta James last month on my birthday :punk:

    Just saw these guys at a local club recently, & they kick ass. I think you'll be hearing more from them in the future:

    i've been listening to a lot of portland area bands:

    quasi
    m ward
    the decembrists
    iron & wine
    the thermals

    fertile music scene out there.
