That's fair, although Jackson was just a couple of months after being hired and looking for guys to fit the 3-4. He did hit with Eric Berry the following season, plus Moeaki and some others.

Piolo is a lunatic who deserves to be trashed for that Cassell deal, but I agree that he built a pretty solid talent base there. The core of that team went won that division two years ago. Reid and a quarterback could make them competitive again real fast.

I wonder if he'd consider dusting off McNabb as a stopgap option.

It'll be interesting to see if he wants Vick or goes with Alex Smith.

Reid for McNabb? There's no doubt. I hear he had no interest in trading him but they kinda made him.

Pioli did a few good things but it's not worth the reign of terror that supposedly went on through there. What a shitty atmosphere.

McCoy has the ultimate cuck offense. It's the tofu of the OC world. It'll be interesting if he's ever hired, because he won't have anyone else to tell him what he shouldn't have an opinion about.

Browns reported top targets were Marrone & Kelly. Marrone signed elsewhere and Cleveland supposedly is annoyed by Kelly's Philly flirtation, so they've moved on.

Kelly staying at Oregon, per my "college game day" app sending a tweet to Schefter. Hmmm.

The Oregonian speculates that Kelly is waiting for the perfect opportunity, one they believe to be Bill Belicheck's eventual successor. I'm not sure about their guess, but I think they're correct about Kelly not wanting to make the move unless it feels right for him.

Thanks...has Kelly definitely taken his name out of the hat for an NFL job this year? I don't trust a college game app as a source.
