It comes down to two messes - AZ might look OK because of Kolb, but that's like shitting in someone else's bed, and then moving in. In KC you just don't have that much out there other than RBs, and, well...it's Reid.

 

Don't know anything about their free agent situation aside from Bowe wanting out, but they have some talent on that roster besides Charles. Moeaki was a nice looking TE before his injury, they have some talented young receivers, Hali and one of their other DL are pretty good pass rushers, while Berry is a nice leader in the secondary. I tend to agree that if they get competent QB play and more toughness on the offensive line, they could turn things around quickly.

 

Talent asside (5 pro bowlers) I just think its a better place to be.

Yeah. I must say I'm annoyed with Richardson for moving so slowly. This is a critical time with respect to interviewing and hiring both front office and coaching types. Not to mention it's a pretty dick move to leave Rivera flapping in the wind without knowing his status for next year. You can argue that Rivera should be fired, sure, but Rivera has been nothing but classy for his entire duration here, and deserves that treatment in return. Make a decision, and get the fuck going.

 

I certainly agree with this. But he's not fired yet and if he is, he gets a ton of money to ease his pain.

edit: I'm okay with the process as long as they don't cuck him by interviewing someone while he's still the coach.

 

See, I don't get the impression that he's all about the money at all. His goal in life seems to be to be a leader of a successful football team. So sure, he's ok financially, but I would be willing to bet that the financial part doesn't cross his mind right now.

 

No, but Richardson should do what is in the best interests of the team. Rivera isn't it. Meanwhile I think Andy Reid could do nicely in Kansas City.

 

Anybody know when (date) we start interviewing GM's?

 

So aside from Kelly if you like him, who else that is available is better? I'm not feeling a lot of these retreads.
