    hockey rating suck anyways...that's a big part of the problem. number 5 behind NFL, NBA, MLB, and NASCAR. Red Wings vs Rangers would have pulled relatively better rating but still would have sucked in the grand scheme of things.

    I can see why fans get turned off. the rules completely change for the playoffs...well, the rules don't just how the officials call the games do. Players are selectively allowed to obstruct, dive, play with 2 sticks (one their and one their oppenents they are holding on to), etc. Of course this year, the big no-no is touching a goalie even if they are pushed into him.

    and now we get San Jose vs Calgary...how many of you are staying up until 1:30am to watch with one? Another series with record ratings written all over it.

    I suppose all 1 million people in calgary will tune in, and maybe 200,000 in the San Jose area.
