Again, another Pen. Bob "Battleship" Kelly. Used to turn a future Pen, Dave "The Hammer" Schulz into a bloody punching bag.

Pound for pound, Gary Howatt. That little Islander was tough as nails.

McSorley was pretty nasty, too.

Rob Ray - Hell, he has a rule named after him.

Bob Probert - Anyone who does that much coke should be able to beat anybody's ass.

Stu Grimson - He is the Grim Reaper.

Probert was one of the best...what set him apart was he could score goals too, he had over 30 one season and made the all-star team. The wings had joey kocur too, together they were the "bruise brothers." I have a t-shirt I got at the joe with those two on it.

The best fight I ever saw was when Domi was shooting off his mouth that he "had the belt" as the best fighter. Probert proceeded to kick his ass and then motioned that he had the belt.

Then Bobby decided to drive across the border with cocaine in his pants. After a few DUIs (once telling the officer to "charge me with the usual") Canada deported him, he couldn't play games in Canada. He spent some time in some rehad clinics. He got caught drinking in the bushes with a 12 year old in one and got in some other kind of trouble with Dexter Manley (ex washington redskin) at another....seems to have melowed out in Chicago. He had major alcohal problems...

I agree with the selections, but just for shits and laffs I'll throw in an honorable mention for Darren Langdon.

Not that I'm biased or anything.

If you can find it, former Bruins coach Don Cherry put out a series of videos a few years back called Rock 'Em Sock 'Em. on Rock 'Em Soclk'Em 6 there is a pretty good bout between Probert and McSorley.

My first thought when I saw this thread was McSorley.... then it drifted faintly to Kasparitus just because he's a tough mutha but McSorley was a bastard to drop the gloves with.

Dave Schultz, Bob Probert, & Marty McSorley are 3 guys I would like to have watching my back in a back alley street fight. In case my top 3 needed a rest, I would have Peter Worrell & Stu Grimson coming off the bench :) . . .

who was the goon the blackhawks had in the late 80's early 90's while savard was there?
