Best Free Agent Goalies

it takes too long to develop goalies. the only one i can think of that came up and was damn good is brodeur. osgood did pretty good his first year but he was too immature.

even dom was traded away by chicago. there is probably too much coaching going on..you'll never see another one like dom because he was his own style, not coaches teach them how to be butterfly goalies even if they may be better suited for another style.

What about Blackburn? Hes only 18 and really GOOD.

How about Baby Gump Worsely? He still plays without a mask. Michele Dion? Cesar Maniago? Jimmy Rutherford?

Think you forgot that some great goalies Came from Minor hockey tha were good.

This was Theo first year as No.1 goalie ...THe best goalie in the league.

He was backup to Jeff hacket don't forget. As for Cujo just get him traded to detroit already. And leafs will pick up Belfour.....urghhhh.

The best talented FA is Joseph but the bad thing about him is he wants too much money.. too much money for the 1-2 yrs you could get out of him.

The best talented FA for the money is Dafoe. I haven't seen what he wants but I can't believe he'd want as much as Joseph. He's got more yrs left in him than the others and he played well last yr.


Richter is getting up there in age but could play for another yr at a decent caliber but he's never really been a dominate goalie.


Belfour and his off ice trouble is too much for some folks and his skill has been depleting. Age is a factor with him as well but if he goes to the Wings he could hold them over for one more yr.

Usualy you get what you pay for and my opinin dafoe is the least tallented of the interesting free agents.
