    I see. So the ACC should have its BCS status removed so the world would be a better place for everyone to live and there would be no starving children, sick elderly people, equal rights amongst all living humans, and the all-important 'what not'. Right?

    If you replaced the ACC with the MWC you would still have a conference that only gets one automatic team in a typical year. It wouldn't be any different.

    With the one difference being the ACC has the obvious potential to improve upon that.

    I disagree with that. Give MWC teams access to BCS money every year and I guarentee you that league would improve drastically.

    The ACC already has access to that money and they haven't done much over the span of the BCS, even in comparison to non-BCS MWC.

    It's a business, that's just not going to happen. The footprint of Florida to Massachusetts is never going to be traded for the inner mountain west no matter how good Utah and TCU are.

    I don't expect it to happen. I just made my statement, that the ACC isn't really a BCS caliber conference, and I was pressed to back it up. People that are fans of the ACC aren't going to accept that, because they are fans. Bully for them.

    I haven't exactly seen anyone show an argument for how the ACC is a BCS quality conference, so I guess the only answer is the Big East sucks too (even though the BE has performed better in the BCS).
