Good find...:xyzthumbs But, I know lots of obnoxious fans. YINZER, M9Hummer and that Barry queer, to name a few.

    1. Pittsburgh: For some reason, I just never seem to meet an obnoxious Steelers fan. (I know, there's a guy in your office I need to meet first.) These guys know their current team, they know their history, and they keep it all in pretty good perspective. If I've got to choose one "fan base" to sit down and drink a beer with, the "Stillers" fans get the nod.

Does the writer even have a clue? He said the Ravens won a Super Bowl early in their "return to existence" which made them obnoxious. I didn't know that moving and changing your name was a "return to existence."

    Steelers over Packers?

Very true. I'm sure Yinzer himself has turned quite a few people into Steeler haters. I was impressed with the Steeler fan turnout at away games this year. They are everywhere.

    On Carolina:
Insanely tight restrictions on behavior at home games (like no removing your shirt, among others) just crushes passion.

    Anyone have JR's email address?

I'd put us above Indy. A consistent winner, and they have had trouble filling seats. Indy, in reality, is the worst market in the league, sans perhaps NO. Green Bay may be smaller, but its an institution. And Indy isn't growing, unlike Jacksonville.

It's that owner's own fault. He had a nice base to work with in Baltimore, moving for short term benifit.

I can't say that I'd put us above much else, though.

There is nothing to argue with our ranking. And there is little reason to chastise JR for the preppy stadium rules because twice he has sent out surveys asking the PSL owners if they want to see the rules changed and twice he has gotten over 80% saying no way Jose. We live in a puritan banking town. Until we implode the Bank of America HQ and build a steel mill downtown there will be no change to that...
