    Goings is no longer FB - he's #2 HB, Smart #3.

    The things that caught my eye looking at the official depth chart:

    - Rutherford ahead of LeFors
    - Shelton behind Smart
    - Rod Gardner will start Friday if Colbert can't go
    - Both backup centers are rookies
    - Ben Johnson is the first backup to Gross
    - Omari Jordan is backing up Buckner, ahead of both Carstens and Ellison
    - Marcus Lawrence not in the top three of any linebacker position
    - At the safety spots, Emanuel over Bashir, Davis and Branch both over McCree
    - Will Hampton and Shannon Fitzhugh both ahead of Eddie Jackson at corner

    Since it's only for the first preseason game, it doesn't truly mean much. It's bound to change a lot in the next few weeks (likely before the next game). Still, those are items that caught my attention.

    That's what I think.

    Anyway, the depth we have at safety makes my pecker hard.

    Just wait and see who is starting 3rd game. That should be more telling.
