It seems like we are hitting our stride. The BeerBarians improved their record to 3-2, with a 10-5 victory over Durty Sanchez.
Despite falling behind 2-1 early, the Barians pushed 4 across on with a 2 out rally. We maintained our lead from there on with some top notch Putt pitching. Stellar play by Chuck at short. And a rock solid outfield tracking down everyhting that was hit almost directly towards them.
Game highlights include Putt legging out a double. Queen pulling extra running duty, and scoring twice in a matter of minutes. Sly arguing with the other team. Cuda showing up at 3:45 cos he thought we played at 4. Our midseason pick up David, getting a inside the park hr. Bear cashing us out of three of the six innings we batted. Turbo arriving to close the game for Putt. Capt. attempting another sliding catch and reinjuring his first attempt at a sliding catch.
I see some momentum building as we head into the last 2 games and the tourney.
