You remember my posts better than I do apparently. Anyway it would have probably been better to have traded him. He would be happy and we would have gotten something for him and freed up some cap space to sign some other guys to help.

Jake was terrible that first game. I'm still in the wait and see mode. I think he will rebound. I don't fault your advice but finding a great one isn't as easy as snapping your fingers.

You could restate your argument to say that in past years he had a bad defense, a bad O Line or a bad running game and he still managed to win; and now, that all areas of the team are sucking so is he. so logically you point out that he's not so great that he can do it all by himself without some support from some others on the team. i can agree with that sentiment.

Don't point out spelling errors if you are going to write like a 6 year old.

The team wouldn't be in any different a situation if he were replaced with a dominant DE right now. The damange of paying his tag on top of the current cap situation is done.

I think everyone's disappointed in his play because he is tying up alot of cap space that in hind sight should have been applied in other areas. I also think he fails to realize exactly how much he is making. All areas of the ecomony are suffering. When the fans can't go to the games and pay $8.00 a beer or $100.00 for a jersey the owners will use that situaton to tighten the screws and cut what pay they can. He's really just shooting himself in the foot. Nobody wants to have to deal with a bitchy snot. Especially one that moves like he has lead in his ass. I'd personally love to be able to play football again and even though I'm a slow fat white man I'd play for alot less just to be able to be on the field playing again.

So Beason admits that he shouldn't have made the statement about Peppers on a public radio show,,, good for Jon, (we all said this last week), he made a rookie mistake. Based on this article, he is learning from his mistake.

He didn't say anything that the rest of the planet hasn't been thinking, teammates just need to keep it in-house.

Bottomline, if all the Panthers played as hard as Beason, we probably wouldn't be 1-3, and there certainly wouldn't ever be no reason to question anyone's effort.

I'm sure Beason violated all the unwritten rules, but I'm very glad he did it. You never know what causes what, but it sure seems to have made a difference.

Even if it didn't, its good to hear something other than just glossing over the team's problems.

Somebody needs to call Jake out. Crossman too while we're at it.
