I could be wrong, but I don't see them cutting the starters. They'll let Walker go back to free agency, and they'll draft a guy most likely. Either that, or they pick up a 2-3 mil guy with a bit of a name, but I don't know they would (it would, of course, let them go BPA, which is how they've excelled with some other picks, and they can't chart their expected course with their pick(s) this year like they did with the 13 + trade like they did last year). But unless the right guy (which isn't Haynesworth) was out there, I don't know they'd drop one of theirs.

They chose Lewis to be retained last year. He and Kemoeatu are both more expensive to cut, I'll assume, than to keep. We do need something here but the primary difference besides the Jenkins issue itself is that we're not as specialized or as deep as we were. Ideally I assume we'd like to have two rush type players and two run stoppers, and so I could completely see us reworking depth but keeping the starters.

Watson would be too expensive. A 2nd rounder? he's not that good, even if our 2 is low.

Lewis and Kemo are not awful. We just need some better depth behind them. I expect we either keep a guy like Walker or we sign some other free agent of his caliber and then draft a guy. We are not going to get a guy ready to start as a rookie, at a need position, at the bottom of the second round unless we just get lucky.

Tony Brown is starting for one of the best defenses in the league also. I'm so glad we kept Moorehead over him. No one on these forums said anything about how that was a stupid idea. Nope, it's an absolutely ridiculous idea that anyone on the internet could possibly have better judgment than an NFL GM. We're all a bunch of brain-dead hicks who don't know anything. Yessireebob.

As for Kemo, we would save substantial money by cutting him since his base is larger than his remaining bonus, but the team won't do it.

Not a whole lot available at DT in free agency unless some guys get cut for cap reasons.

I am not a draft junkie so I will try to save some people money on blood pressure medicine by not pimping anyone. I will say that there are a few guys with good size coming out that might help us as a run stuffer. A few guys I see are: Ron Brace from BC who goes 6-3 and 324lbs. and Dorell Scott from Clemson who is 6-4 and 320.

I think we still need help for our pass rush, not as much as we need help at DT but one reason our secondary has started sucking is our weak pass rush. I would assume would be cap strapped once we take care of Peppers and Gross so signing a big name DE is probably out. Terrell Suggs would be sweet opposite Peppers though. Since that wont happen I hope we can find a guy in the draft who can be a situational pass rusher. Think Hilee Taylor but better.
