    Mike Mccarthy said he would only be interested in Jets job. Jets hire Adam Gase. Packers did well despite Mccarthy

    If McCarthy misses this cycle, he might have trouble getting another HC job. He just doesn't fit the profile of what GMs are looking for now.

    Gase going to the Jets is LOL. He's 5-1 against them, so they probably think he's much better than he actually is.

    they drop a bunch of that huge surplus cap on above average vets to get the playoffs get too capped out to add to that in following seasons, draft poorly and in 4 years restart the rebuild. It's the jets destiny.

    These owners and GMs clearly don't value leadership anymore. Just get a guy who calls plays. I think the league is going to pay for it over the next decade.

    That's a pretty good take. Part of the equation is no good college coaches want to jump to the NFL. You have no authority in the NFL anymore. The coach of Northwestern turned down the Green Bay Packers. That can't be a good sign.
