    Peer to peer file sharing. The not so good old days. I remember if you wanted to try out a new virus/malware eradicator proggie you could infect your system very quickly on those sites.
    I can't remember the name of the more infamous one, but they got into some kind of copyright infringement trouble I believe.
    Oh yeah, it was Napster.
