After the last-second win over Green Bay, Vikings nose tackle Pat Williams said he is in a comfort zone right now, and he cannot be blocked. In fact, Williams took a shot at Chicago Bears Pro Bowl center Olin Kreutz, and any other center he will face.

"Everyone puts him in the Pro Bowl every year. ESPN always pumps him up," Williams said of Kreutz. "But I proved that he's nothing, really. I don't respect him or any other center. I don't give anyone props.

    "They can't block me." :77321_bs:

Sigh, I'm not sure we do so well facing the 3-4 defense. Good think this game is at home. I hope Jake finally remembers it is okay to change the snap count.

    not exclusively

look at their depth chart, while they may play it...that doesn't neccessarilly mean they use it as their base

Actually they are a 3-4 team, although there's no reason for most people to know that. They started the season as a 4-3 team without any 3-4 elements, but they've had so many injuries along the defensive line that they made a switch against Chicago, and Mike Tice stated that he liked the way the defense responded (even though they lost 28-3, they only gave up 192 yards in the game), so they've stuck with it. Plus they had a number of talented linebackers, so it made some sense in that respect.
