    Off to a 6-9 start and it's hasn't been a very impressive season so far but you can always count on Smoltz to get it done. And Chipper too.

    Chipper is on an ass kickin tear. 3 run dinger tonight. 3 in 2 nights and he's hitting over .400.

    They are bringing Chuck James up from AAA to pitch the next game. Guess the Dodger's will get some BP curtesy of Mr. James. The pitching staff needs its own MASH unit..

    Not a bad performance by James, but another starter only goes 5. Is that smoke I smell from the bullpen as it starts to burn up?

    James pitched very well. I was at the game on Saturday, he made one very big mistake in throwing Andrew Jones a high meatball but other than that he was very good.
