I'm thinking about going FiOS but they don't like telling me what the cost will be AFTER the introductory offer expires.

    So tell me-

Who has uverse? Is it as great as you thought it would be and are there any issues?

I'm on the phone RIGHT NOW with time warner telling them how much I hate them. I have it on my calendar to call them and cuss them about every 3 months.

I need uverse and they have laid the ground work here.... I just need to know if it's really all that.

We want basic cable with some movie channels. We don't need all of them, but showtime and HBO would be nice.
As for internet- we need a good speed, but doesn't have to be the best.
    Unlimited calling.

The 3 DVR's is really attractive to me so I can watch the dingy stuff without fear of ridicule. (in non hd of course):N1yeeaah:

I have Uverse. It is pretty good. I got their DVR but I still prefer my old TIVO box. Unfortunately it will not work very well with Uverse.
