    we've just started installing the remote units for att this month. i don't know if selected parts of the city are going to get access before november. we've got one scheduled for southpark off of colony rd this week. surprisingly, alot of work is going on in shelby right now too.

    i wonder if those are areas that tw hasn't run cable to. not a bad idea if that's what they're doing.

    directv is launching "on demand" soon, it's freakishly sick... almost every channel will have an alternate on demand channel... plus they offer more hd channels than any provider... I just don't get why anybody could be happy with twc

    I get a bigger bang for the buck with DirecTV that TWC, plus they had a special at the time. And, they sent me a little DVD player after a couple of months that wasn't even part of the deal.

    I'm not aware of AT&T Uverse.

    they've had 52b cabinets blowing up. the 52b cabinets hold the vrad, although some people are calling the 52b cabinets "vrads." there's been two or three vrad cabinets set in the last few months.

    we're using different batteries than the ones that blew up. I finally get to be somewhat of a tech nerd now. woohooo.

    sounds like uverse is going to be the shit. maybe i'll get a discount.

    where did you hear that from? i've heard about the same time, but i heard it from an att engineer.
