Elway would probably take a 6th rounder just to get Tebowmania as far away from Denver as possible.

Everybody knows Elway wants Tebow gone, nobody is gonna give up picks for him. Theyll wait a few days and when they get no offers theyll cut him. Browns should try to sign Tebow. They havent got alot of qb options. Theyd do better to give their fan base some Tebowmania for a year and get Barkley next year.

i really think it will come back to bite them. My wife and others in her family have a history of neck/back probs and once you get the type of procedure that he had in the line of work he's in it's just a matter of time before something in there gets tweaked or pinched (or worse). I give Peyton about one and a half "almost the SB" years there at most . . . then he'll be a non-playin cap disaster.

If I were Denver I would not let him go for less than a third round pick. If they can't get that for him then they should hang on to him and let him learn under Peyton. If anyone could help him become a better drop back passer it would be Peyton. If Peyton's neck goes out then at least they have the guy who took them to the playoffs and beat the Steelers to fall back on.

I suspect that some team will offer a third rounder or better for Tebow though. Young QBs who win playoff games are valuable in the NFL even if they have an unorthodox style of play. His style is really not all that different than Vince Young, Ron Mexico, and various other running QBs of the recent past.

you're comparing him to vick? he obviously gets lots of bonus points for being white. he sucks thelt. they won despite him. i get your jesus crush, but this is football. learn under peyton. haha. if he could learn that sorgi would be fucking awesome.
he ought to ride the bench or change positions. nobody wants him on their team, 'cause he sucks.

There isn't evidence Peyton is a good teacher, alternatively Jim Sorgi and Curtis Painter are really shitty students.

EDIT: Apologies to buck nasty, I didn't read enough to see you'd already made this point.

There doesn't appear to be a situation out there where anyone would take him with the intention of starting him. The team that takes him as a backup will get the Tebow mania circus as a bonus.

A team that has a totally entrenched, unquestioned starter in place might be able to deal with that. NE maybe. Maybe here (please, please, please no). Could have been Denver but Fox and Elway seem to just want that to go away. Far far away.

Btw, this just cost him a whole lot of money. I saw an article yesterday that said he had a clause that would up his '13 & '14 by something like 6 mil if he played 40% of the snaps in '12. Doesn't look like he's gonna have that chance.
