    It makes a little sense to me. The tag for Tight Ends is 16.3 million, and his agent is probably looking to reset the market at around $20 per year. He's had two good seasons out of five, so making him prove it one more year is prudent. That's not something you generally see in Atlanta, maybe their new GM isn't an idiot.

    I was surprised to hear he was their leading receiver last year but Drake Londan did miss some time

    Raiders going without designated qb coach but speculation assistant hc mike McCoy could handle it unofficially.

    Too bad Mendoza seems like a good kid I really feel for him.
