Around The NFL 2025

Teams will put up with anything short of 2025 Rams special teams at this stage. They just want someone with experience and a clean background, who won't completely hinder the rest of your team.Which is sad, because it used to be a dynamic coaching pipeline. Harbaugh is still the only straight-to-HC guy, but many great head coaches cut their teeth in special teams.

Just one more unintended consequence of NFL pussification.

 

Feels like theres a malaise thats hit- owner gives you a free hand but also not a lot of resources. That division is hell so it's hard to grab a fast turnaround that gets buy in.

 

It's a brutal division right now, but that's fine at day one of a rebuild. It just takes two offseasons for these things to flip. Most failing teams just need to stop doing stupid shit for two years. It's much less about "catching up" and more about getting out of your own way and letting the Marxist NFL setup punish the good teams back to .500.



The Cardinals are about 40 million under in 2026. The books are clean and they have some promising young players on rookie deals. I think it's an underrated job, but I get the Bidwell thing.
