    Rhule better do something this year because future seasons look like actual rebuilding years. The team will be something like $30 million over in 2023.

    I'm not too sure about that. We've got just 12 people on the roster who played for us in 2019. Regardless of his coaching, Rhule has stocked the roster with a lot of young, athletic talent. If he flames out this year, the next guy should have something solid to build on, all we will need is a franchise QB and a stud MLB. And half the teams in the league need that.

    I think Carolina will be a good spot for someone in 2023 if this season goes down the toilet.

    Sure, but if you want that to matter, you have to extend those players eventually. Then you have to keep hitting on high picks, as free agency becomes more and more prohibitive. All while landing a legitimate franchise quarterback at some point.


    That's a lot of things that have to fall into place to escape five win purgatory.
