Rhules baylor teams aspired to two things: don't get caught raping so damn much, be the best big 12 team in Texas.

Truly the man you want to win lombardi against the top afc coaches.

To no one's surprise, Leftwich is going to be the next coach of the Jags. And the Bucs will get two compensatory thirds because he's worth it, dangit!

Yeah, I'm not bullish on Leftwich as a head coach. Arians ran that offense until Tom Brady showed up, at which point we all know who was running that franchise, so he's basically been a glorified QB coach with mixed results. He was part of the failed Steve Wilks staff. Rosen sucked, Bradford lasted about two games, Winston lead the NFL in interceptions. It's not a strong resume, even compared to someone like Josh McDaniels, who hasn't drawn any serious interest during this cycle.

McDaniels can probably get to the front of the line in most coaching searches if he wants he either doesn't want any part of the current openings or is truly biding his time to take over for belichik.

Leftwich has a pretty thin resume but it's no worse than those couple of offseasons where teams hired by looking at mcvays insta follows. Not sure why he would go back there though, that org is a mess.

Job security and institutional control. The owner accepts poor results for years on end, just as long as you aren't assaulting players or grinding on women. He'll have more pull within that organization than he would have in others, including the absurd power of picking the next GM once Baalke completes his lame duck season.

Let's see how good Leftwich is without pro bowl talent. Barry could coach them to the playoffs.

    Wait no he couldn't
