    Cam Newton may be done, but he could be Taysom Hill type of player and extend his career by five years that way.

    Cam is still a force of nature near the end zone, and I don't see that going away any time soon. We'll get a good sample size of how he does as a full time starter - I really think you have to throw the Miami game in the trash based on a historically bad performance by the offensive line - but either way, I agree with you that he's a valuable backup at minimum.

    Heinecke type until say... opponent 35 then Cam zone? That would be pretty interesting.

    One of the SF special teamers seemed like he nearly broke his neck on the opening kickoff with Seattle. I don't know how bad it is yet. They brought the ambulance onto the field and drove him off. I'm not sure why we still do kickoffs.
