If it's any consolation Darnold is probably in line for same venom teddy is getting now when ever he's backing up Jordan Love.

If Teddy Bridgewater ever throws short of a first down, it automatically means Darnold is a better quarterback, was worth a 2nd round pick, a 5th year option, passing on Justin Fields and Mac Jones, and paying a quarterback 7 million dollars to play for another team. That's the impression I'm getting from the Darnold evangelicals.

You must have learned projection from Tharan. I like Sam but he’s still playing a position where we need an upgrade. I like him more than Teddy, also.

Looks like it's just myself and CJ on the ol Darnold bandwagon. At least there's plenty of room to stretch out.

I'm not on the bandwagon, per se, but I'm not off either.

He needs to get is ass in gear and play like he did the first three games.

I'm not necessarily on the bandwagon, I just don't think we need to kick him to the curb yet. We were told he was a project, so let's treat him like one and let it play out before cutting bait. I would rather upgrade the line before we address QB right now because I think that if he gets decent protection he can manage a game. And he showed some serious flashes last Sunday in that final drive.

If he somehow gets his light bulb turned on, he could at least be on the same level as Jake Delhomme, which would be just fine with me.

I was good with Jake. I wish we had someone with his mojo.
