    The NFL really wants to avoid another Seattle/Denver Super Bowl at all costs. Defenses don't much of a chance now, even the good ones. Watching Peyton Manning against SF tonight reinforces that.

    It's amazing how Manning's career has taken off under the steady hand of John Fox. I never knew Fox was so good at offense.
