I just thought it might be nice to have someone with some real experience here. The football forum is filled with college-age 'experts' who never played. And nobody (including me) talks enough baseball here.
If you've kept up with baseball in general, what do you think will happen by season's end with respect to the labor agreement?

Personally, I think that they will come to an agreement by season's end.
Baseball has come too far from the strike in '82- '83.(I forget which year)
There are too many history making seasons and records being broken creating an enormous fan base.
Bottom line is baseball can generate dollars.
Barry Bonds with the potential to challenge Hank Aaron's record, Sammy Sosa with the potential to break Bond's single season HR record, Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling becoming an awesome 1-2 punch and challenging records set by pitching teammates etc...
All of these variables collectively is making baseball again America's pass time.
I think they cannot afford to set baseball back 20 years because this time there may be no coming back. I would hate to see that dearly.
